Define Business System

A business system will be defined for the EWM (own business system) and for each ERP system that is connected to EWM system. The SAP EWM system stores the business system in the document flow tables of the cross-system and cross partner document flow and helps to determine to which ERP system a document belongs to.

Business systems is mapped to their corresponding logical systems, because the delivery documents sent from the SAP ERP system to the SAP EWM system contain only the logical system number of the SAP ERP system. This mapping helps to determine the business system based on logical system so that the warehouse request document in EWM can be updated with the corresponding business system.

Define Queue Transfer

Maintain Business System Group

Assign Logical System to Queue type

Assign Plant to Business Partner Role FLVN01-Supplier (Maintained)

FLVN01- Supplier (Maintained)

Step 1: Click on Edit Button

Step 2: Select BP Role FLVN01- Supplier/Vendor

Step 3: Click On Vendor General Data Enter Plant-9566

Step 4: Click on Save

Assign ERP Warehouse Number to Plant/Storage Location

Assign Warehouse Number from Logistics Execution

Map Plant Storage Location to EWM Warehouse

ERP Settings

Generate Distribution Model

Step 1: Enter ERP WH 950

Step 2: Enter Logical System for EWM

Step 3: Model- EWM

Step 4: Click on Execute Button

Assign ERP Delivery to EWM Document (Inbound Delivery)

Assign ERP Delivery to EWM Document (Direct Outbound)

• Determine Delivery Type for Direct Outbound Delivery

• Determine Item Category for Direct Outbound Delivery

EWM Settings

Map EWM Document Type to ERP Delivery

Map Item Type to ERP System to EWM

Map SAP ERP Order Type to SAP EWM Document Type

Map SAP ERP Order Type to SAP EWM Item Type
