SAP ERP-EWM Integration
In this blog, we are going to discuss about the ERP-EWM integration.
What steps are involved in the basic setup between ERP and EWM?
Step 1: Create an RFC user in ERP/EWM.
Step 2: Name the logical systems and assign them to clients.
Step 3: Define the RFC destination in ERP.
Step 4: Set the target system and Queue types.
Step 5: Maintain QRFC monitor in ERP.
Step 6: Set user parameters for data transfer.
Step 7: Activate additional material master screens and additional screen sequences.
Step 8: Maintain Number ranges.
Step 9: Activate enhancement for service part management.
Step 10: Define a separate business system.
Step 11: Set up control of RFC.
Step 12: Set up control parameters for ERP version control in EWM.
How initial master data is transferred to EWM from ERP?
New Material master data from ERP can be transferred to EWM automatically without any manual intervention using the Core interface (CIF).
To create a core interface
T-code: CFM1- Create Core Interface Model
T-code: CFM2- Activate Core Interface Model
How to transfer the Customers and Vendors master to EWM?
Similar to Material Master, CIF can also be created for BPs using and selecting customers, and vendors.
Also, select the create LOC/BP option to create both BP as well as location data in the EWM system.
T-code: CFM1- Create CIF Model
T-code: CFM2- Activate CIF Model
How to display the CIF application log?
T-code: CFG1
How to Automatically transfer master data to the EWM system?
Background jobs can be scheduled for the below programs using Tcode SM36 and variants created for CFM1 can be used in the batch jobs to transfer data periodically.
1 RIMODDEL — Delete CIF
2 RIMODGEN- Create CIF
3 RIMODAC2- Activate CIF
How Delivery integration is done between ERP-EWM?
To distribute the deliveries, a distribution model is created beforehand. The model can be created by T-Code: /SPE/OL19
To check the result, we can use t-code BD64. Distribution models are required to be set up for the production system before Go-Live.
Below Function modules are used to process the deliveries
How to Pull expected goods receipt into EWM from ERP?
Use T-Code /SCWM/ERP_EGR_DELETE this reports calls /SCWM/ERP_DLV_DELETE and it deletes the existing EGRs and creates new ones.
How to Push EGR from the ERP system to EWM?
We can use T-Code /SPE/EGR this calls report /SCWM/ERP_EGR_CREATE and it will create EGRs in the EWM system.
