Warehouse Management Monitor

The warehouse management monitor is a central tool warehouse manager can get constantly up to date information of the various warehouse activities and unable them to initiate appropriate decisions for smooth operation of the warehouse.

The warehouse management monitor also contains alert monitoring capabilities, which highlight to manager actual and potential problematic situation in the warehouse, and provide exception handling tools.

Node Hierarchy Tree

The node hierarchy tree contains nodes which represents different object classes.
The tree is used for navigation.
Hierarchy tree use to display in the upper view area object information for a specific node, based on selection criteria.
The warehouse management monitor contains nodes for object classes relating to following;

Document- Warehouse Requests (WRs), Warehouse Orders (WOs), Warehouse Tasks (WTs), Physical Inventory documents

Processes- Stock & Bin, Resource Management

Alerts- Overdue, Waves or Overdue Deliveries without Goods Issue/ Goods Receipt

Drilldown Capabilities

After displaying in the upper view area object information for a node, you can drilldown and display the object information for its lower level nodes, via designated pushbuttons. Similarly drill down to the lower-level nodes from the lower view area,

List & Form Views

Object information is displayed as a list view by default. The list view is displayed in ALV grid, and offers all standard ALV functionalities, like sorting, filter, print functions.
Form view can also can display for a selected object, The form view provides a focused view of the object, and you can get detailed information than list view. The form view is displayed in an HTML viewer.

Methods

After object information displayed in either view area, you can call method to perform actions on selected objects.

Customizing Options

Standard SAP Monitor you can use or you can customize the monitor as per your requirements.
You can customize your needs by either creating variants for the standard nodes, or creating new variant nodes, based on standard nodes.
Creation variants for standard nodes enable you to use predefined selection criteria while running monitor session. The variant node assignment are lost when close the session.
Creating variant nodes enables you to create your own nodes =, which are based on standard nodes, but with specific selection criteria or with a specific layout, Variant nodes are always available when user wish to use monitor.

SAP Crystal Reports in Warehouse Management Monitor

You can display seven SAP Crystal Reports in the warehouse management monitor. The SAP Crystal reports are available in separate monitor, CR_EX in WM monitor.
These crystal reports can be used to display charts and analytics functions for demonstration purpose.
The reports can be exported and modified using SAP Crystal Reports Designer and reimported and saved as an ALV grid layout.
